About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Group Risk Management team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Toronto, contributing to AI projects that support risk management workflows. This role focuses on applying data science and software engineering to build practical applications that drive business value.
What you'll do#
- Build AI solutions from initial design through to production deployment.
- Translate business use cases into technical problems by working directly with users.
- Design executive presentations and develop project strategy.
- Collaborate on projects involving generative AI and machine learning to improve automation and efficiency.
- Refine technical solutions based on feedback from business users.
What you'll need#
- Hands-on experience with Python 3.x for building scalable software.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering to optimize LLM outputs.
- Knowledge of agentic systems and modular RAG.
- Understanding of NLP techniques, deep learning, and machine learning algorithms.
- A master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics is preferred.
