About the role#
This internship within the Innovation & AI Centre of Excellence focuses on advancing risk management practices at RBC. You will work on real-world AI applications that drive automation and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support the end-to-end development cycle of AI solutions, from initial design to production deployment.
- Translate business use cases into technical problems and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct user research and analyze business requirements.
- Track and report on project progress.
- Design executive presentations and develop project communications.
- Support Safe AI Adoption and Governance by following internal best practices.
- Continuously learn about AI advancements and share knowledge with the team.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including Machine Learning and Generative AI.
- Ability to communicate business value effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project management and creating business presentations.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and work effectively in a team.
- A Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics is preferred.
