About the role#
This internship involves working within our Hardware Architecture, AI Hardware, or SoC teams. You will help define what our chips become before they reach the manufacturing stage. This includes SoC-level architecture, fabric design, and verification. We use a single application process to match you with the team and location that best fits your background.
What you'll do#
- Define and evaluate system, CPU, memory, fabric, and chiplet-level decisions.
- Analyze workloads, performance, power, and system requirements.
- Develop architectural models and perform tradeoff analyses.
- Create specifications for implementation.
- Design and develop core AI accelerator IP.
- Perform RTL design, verification, and delivery for SoC integration.
- Design and verify the integration of all subsystems.
- Validate cross-functional and performance requirements.
- Take designs to silicon.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Coursework or projects in digital design, computer architecture, and performance modeling.
- Familiarity with ASIC design concepts such as performance simulations, RTL design, and logic synthesis.
- Scripting and programming skills in languages like Python, C++, or Tcl.
- Experience using AI coding platforms.
- Ability to take ownership and deliver results as a self-starter.
- Practical problem-solving skills.
