About the role#
This position focuses on providing financial advice and problem-solving support for everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an intern, you will act as an ambassador for the bank, helping clients reach their goals through direct interaction and collaboration with internal partners.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and provide advice.
- Teach clients how to use digital banking tools and assist with financial transactions.
- Identify sales and referral opportunities while working to retain business.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual requirements.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to support business goals.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on putting clients first.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
