About the role#
We are looking for a Data Analyst student to join our Personal Banking team. You will help transform data into actionable strategies while working with Business Intelligence technologies. This role is a full-time co-op placement for the Winter 2027 term, starting January 11, 2027. Potential placements include Payment Innovation, Customer Data Management, or Cards & Loyalty.
What you'll do#
- Identify, manage, and interpret data to support business growth.
- Build data pipelines and conduct data deep dives.
- Perform feature engineering and develop machine learning models.
- Use Business Intelligence tools to streamline processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and business partners.
- Develop your analytical and problem-solving skills by addressing complex business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capacity to work both independently and within a team.
- Familiarity with databases, data engineering, or cloud technologies is an asset.
- Exposure to software development practices or workflow automation is helpful.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Toronto, Ontario.
- This is a paid, full-time co-op placement.
- Candidates must be returning to school after the work term, or require this placement as a mandatory component to graduate.
