About the role#
This internship focuses on client service and problem solving within a branch environment. You will assist clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs while representing the bank. The role requires collaboration with partners to help clients reach their goals.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients throughout the branch and the community to identify banking needs and referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking tools and demonstrate how to use digital platforms.
- Respond to client requests and assist with financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs.
- Resolve and prevent banking problems.
- Maintain relationships with partners to support business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
- A focus on putting clients first and experience in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, and personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Availability to work all business hours.
- Enrollment in a Finance, Business Administration, or Economics program.
