About the role#
This is a four-month Quantitative Technology Services student opportunity for the Winter 2027 term. By applying, you will be considered for multiple software developer roles within the QTS department at RBC.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and code applications while performing code reviews and testing.
- Conduct design and integration testing.
- Manage application releases and incidents.
- Handle various project tasks and provide daily support to improve department efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience developing applications in UNIX, Linux, or Windows environments.
- Programming knowledge in Java, C#, C/C+, Python, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience presenting to stakeholders.
