    About the role#

    The Hybrid-Electric Propulsion (HEP) and New Small Engine (NSE) teams are developing technology to improve aircraft efficiency. This project aims to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to modern regional turboprop aircraft. As an intern, you will support the design, validation, and analysis of engine components while contributing to the team's goal of achieving a first flight.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage various sub-projects and track their progress daily.
    • Design, modify, and analyze engine parts and test bench components.
    • Prepare assembly instructions and test procedures for engines.
    • Modify parts to accommodate necessary instrumentation.
    • Coordinate the manufacturing of parts and track orders and inventory.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering program at a Canadian university for the duration of the internship.
    • Eligibility to work in Canada.
    • Strong communication skills in both French and English, as you will need to read technical documentation and communicate with international colleagues.
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

    Location & details#

    • This internship takes place on-site in Longueuil, Quebec, from January 5 to April 23, 2027.
    • Work hours are Monday through Friday.
    • This is a paid, full-time position.
    • The offer is conditional upon passing a criminal background check and obtaining necessary authorizations for the handling of controlled goods.
