About the role#
This is a full-time Software Engineering Internship based in McKinney, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site as part of a multi-disciplined team, contributing to both new and legacy programs within the aerospace and defense sector. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to program access requirements.
What you'll do#
- Support the full software development life cycle, from initial concept and requirements to final maintenance.
- Develop solutions for complex technical system and software integration challenges.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers to design software that meets specific operational and end-user needs.
- Contribute to military and commercial programs in a hands-on, team-based environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience in the development, testing, and integration of real-time software applications.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio or similar IDE environments.
