About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer of 2027 based in Dallas, Texas. You will work within our Electro-Optical and Infrared Systems line of business, collaborating directly with experienced software engineers. This role involves a 12-14 week commitment on a 9/80 work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Conduct limited scope testing under the guidance of software engineers.
- Perform design analysis and calculations.
- Gather and assemble project data.
- Provide regular updates regarding your progress and status.
- Support and reinforce the values and culture of the organization.
- Collaborate with the broader engineering team on various projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior academic standing in an accredited Electrical Engineering or Computer Science program.
- A 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Completion of a formal data structure course.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, specifically C, C++, or C#.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
