About the role#
This co-op position supports the AI team in Lexington, Massachusetts. You will work on web interfaces and APIs for AI and cloud applications during the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain web interfaces and APIs for AI and cloud systems.
- Follow established design standards and patterns.
- Update and test AI applications.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide workaround solutions.
- Document your work across the software development life cycle.
- Ensure all tasks meet standards for accuracy and thoroughness.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Java or Python development.
- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with databases like Oracle or MySQL.
- Understanding of API frameworks and software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio Code.
- Exposure to UNIX, Linux, shell scripting, or Perl.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance.
Location & details#
- Location: Lexington, MA.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to May).
- Pay: $25 to $32 per hour, based on your year in school.
- Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
