About the role#
As a Project Engineering Intern, you will support the Power and Controls, Engine Control Systems engineering efforts for the Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engine Programs. You will work within the chief’s office to support technical execution across various product lines and functions. This role involves direct coordination with internal engineering teams and external customers.
What you'll do#
- Represent Engineering in the Large Commercial Engines product lines.
- Manage program milestones and deliverables by tracking commitments.
- Coordinate technical communications between internal and external teams.
- Ensure technical scope changes are aligned with Product Line Leaders.
- Communicate project status to management and customers.
- Monitor fleet reliability and maintain related metrics.
- Participate in root cause and corrective action activities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in a STEM field, specifically Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial).
- Actively enrolled through the completion of the internship.
- Completion of at least 45 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience gained through research, coursework, projects, or previous work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and project management techniques.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and presenting information to stakeholders.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Prior experience with RTX is a plus.
