About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. You will join the Component Integrated Product Team to support engineering projects within the aviation and aerospace manufacturing sector. This position requires you to work on-site.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the Component Integrated Product Team to drive communication, risk management, and project requirements.
- Coordinate design changes with internal and external customers as well as suppliers.
- Organize and execute multiple complex tasks.
- Support supplier transitions and cost reduction initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, Catia, Creo, Autodesk, or AutoCAD.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship is preferred.
- Prior experience with project management or cross-functional teams is preferred.
- Previous internship or work experience with RTX is a plus.
