    About the role#

    Raytheon Technologies is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to focus on test equipment for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson, Arizona. You will work on mechanical design projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support hardware development and testing.

    What you'll do#

    • Design structures, assemblies, and mechanisms.
    • Perform detailed design and drafting work following ASME Y14.5 standards.
    • Support the procurement and testing of development hardware.
    • Manage suppliers and subcontractors.
    • Coordinate across different teams to mature designs.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
    • You must be entering at least your Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2027.
    • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
    • Experience with Creo modeling and drafting.
    • Familiarity with Windchill and configuration management.
    • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
