    About the role#

    As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will support our mechanical team with daily design and project development tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in mechanical system design, equipment selection, and construction observation while working under the mentorship of a professional engineer. This role requires collaboration with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform load calculations and select equipment for specific projects.
    • Attend construction meetings and visit sites to observe and report on technical findings.
    • Communicate professionally with the mechanical team, other disciplines, and clients.
    • Manage your time to balance multiple project deadlines.
    • Seek guidance from mentors to ensure design accuracy and project completion.
    • Handle other duties as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
    • Ability to work well in a team setting and listen to others.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
    • Commitment to maintaining high integrity and ethical standards.
    • A desire to grow professionally and produce quality engineering work.

    • Location: West Fargo, North Dakota.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
    • Compensation: Paid internship.
    • Note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
