About the role#
Systems Security Engineering at Raytheon focuses on creating security solutions that integrate Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management. You will support Program Protection Implementation for sensors, ground radars, and platform systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
What you'll do#
- Perform technically challenging assignments that contribute to program protection.
- Collaborate with team experts and across engineering disciplines to reach program milestones.
- Develop approaches and solutions for assigned projects.
- Contribute to a team environment while receiving guidance from experienced engineers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in a STEM field, with at least 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance, or the ability to obtain an interim clearance prior to your start date.
- Motivation and an aptitude for learning new concepts quickly.
- Experience with data analysis and automation tools, such as Python or MATLAB.
- Prior experience through internships, co-ops, or work is preferred.
