About the role#
This Finance Intern position offers the opportunity to support a Strategic Business Unit or functional area within the finance organization. You will gain exposure to Raytheon products, customers, and internal processes while working in a full-time capacity during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop financial models and improve existing processes.
- Prepare individual and group projects for presentation to finance leadership.
- Participate in weekly development sessions to build technical and soft skills.
- Receive on-the-job training in areas such as financial planning and analysis, accounting, contract business management, or pricing and proposal development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Management.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, as U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active and existing security clearance is required after your first day.
- A cumulative 3.5 GPA is desired.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience with RTX is preferred.
- Experience leading team projects and involvement in extracurricular activities are preferred.
