About the role#
This Finance Intern position offers hands-on experience within a Strategic Business Unit or functional area at Raytheon. You will work alongside finance teams to provide insights for decision-making and support business operations. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Tucson, Arizona, scheduled for Fall 2026.
What you'll do#
- Develop financial models and improve existing processes.
- Prepare individual and group projects for presentation to finance leadership.
- Learn about Raytheon financials, company structure, and how the business fulfills customer commitments.
- Participate in weekly development sessions to build technical and soft skills.
- Gain exposure to financial planning, accounting, contract business management, and pricing through on-the-job training.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Management.
- Must be actively enrolled through the end of the internship.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, as U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active and existing security clearance is required after your first day.
- Prior experience with RTX, a 3.5 GPA, leadership experience in team projects, and extracurricular involvement are preferred.
