About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op opportunity for Summer and Fall 2027. The role is remote and requires U.S. citizenship, as access to specific program information is restricted to U.S. citizens.
What you'll do#
- Track the implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization.
- Perform data entry and validation within the EH&S reporting system.
- Research the feasibility of renewable energy opportunities for Collins operations.
- Monitor corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM major.
- Enrollment status must be maintained throughout the duration of the co-op.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience presenting production metrics or project updates to leadership or cross-functional teams using data visualization tools.
- Relevant skills gained through coursework, research, or prior work experience.
Location & details#
- This position is fully remote. You will work primarily from home, though your manager may discuss occasional onsite presence if you live near an RTX facility. Some interview steps may require in-person attendance.
