About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position for the Winter and Spring 2027 terms. You will work on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Design, analyze, simulate, and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers, including processors, FPGAs, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
- Use lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
- Work on schematic capture of digital and analog mixed-signal electrical circuit designs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op.
- Familiarity with electronic circuit design or multi-assembly system design, gained through coursework, projects, or research.
- Ability to work well with a team and manage tasks independently.
- Experience taking design concepts from block diagrams or requirements to complete hardware designs.
- Proficiency with schematic capture tools and the PCB design process.
- Knowledge of PCB electronic circuit design software, including signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation.
