About the role#
Raytheon Technologies is hiring an Avionics Systems Engineering Intern to join the Avionics Air Transport Displays department in Bothell, Washington. This is a full-time, hybrid position. You will work on flight deck display systems for commercial jet airplanes alongside a team of systems, software, and hardware engineers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create avionics display solutions that prioritize quality and safety.
- Develop and run system-level operational tests for Avionics Display Systems.
- Build software tools to support the integration, verification, and validation of display systems.
- Gain experience with the system development lifecycle, including requirements capture, system design, and modeling.
- Apply industry standards such as ARINC 661, ARINC 664, and ARP-4754.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
- You have completed at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- You have experience with at least one programming or scripting language, gained through coursework, projects, or research.
- You are a U.S. Person as defined by federal regulations.
