    About the role#

    As a Development Planner, you will work under minimal supervision to perform varied and complex tasks. You will adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet specific project requirements. You will use your judgment to plan and achieve assigned goals, seeking assistance for complex issues while serving as a resource for others.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage one or multiple assembly instructions.
    • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Collaborate with tool design, integration, development engineers, and customer service teams.
    • Participate in Integrated Program Team (IPT) meetings.
    • Ensure follow-up with customers at the assembly department.
    • Validate assembly instructions within the department.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Canadian college or university throughout the internship.
    • Pursuit of a degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or as an aerospace technician.
    • Eligibility to work in Canada.
    • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken and written).
    • Comfort with English (spoken and written) to interpret technical plans and communicate with international colleagues.
    • Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Project management skills and a problem-resolution mindset.
    • Ability to interact effectively across multiple disciplines.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain clearances for handling controlled goods.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Longueuil, Quebec.
    • Work modality: On-site, Monday to Friday.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January 5 to April 23, 2027).
