About the role#
As a Corporate Risk and Treasury Management Summer Intern, you will support the North America team in delivering derivative-based risk management solutions. You will work alongside sales professionals to gain exposure to client relationship management, market analysis, and treasury risk management. This role focuses on helping corporate clients navigate market risk through analysis and tailored hedging solutions across interest rate, foreign exchange, and commodity markets.
What you'll do#
- Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, hedging proposals, and market commentary.
- Analyze developments in interest rates, foreign exchange, and commodity markets to support client solutions.
- Research client industries, treasury trends, and risk management practices.
- Assist with derivative pricing analysis, transaction support, and business development initiatives.
- Maintain sales activity reports, client pipeline information, analytics, market monitoring tools, and dashboards.
- Prepare market updates for internal and external distribution.
- Support ad hoc projects related to client strategy and product initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in finance, economics, business, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Interest in financial markets and corporate treasury.
- Ability to interpret market information and communicate findings clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg or other financial market resources is a plus.
