About the role#
The Franchise Finance Intern supports the Gulf Coast Franchise Finance group during the summer program. You will assist with loan application processes, file organization, and underwriting support. This role involves observing pre-closing and post-closing workflows while contributing to administrative tasks and special projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with loan application reviews for accuracy and completeness.
- Create and organize loan files to help move applications forward.
- Prepare initial financial spreads and begin drafting Credit Approval Memos.
- Review imaged loan closing documents for accuracy.
- Partner with servicing specialists to ensure efficient information flow.
- Support internal risk management policies and comply with BSA, AML, and OFAC regulations.
- Participate in tasks across other departments to gain broader exposure to bank operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program, ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work on-site and handle tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Please note that the company does not provide immigration sponsorship, including support for OPT or CPT.

- Location: Farmers Branch, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 to July 23, with potential extension to mid-August).
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time and paid.
- Requirement: Participation in a final internship presentation in New Orleans on July 22, 2027.
