About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to manufacturing data systems. You will work on Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) dataflows and support applications that rely on this data. You will collaborate with teams to find process improvements and ensure our data solutions remain reliable.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL dataflows for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and improve applications that use manufacturing data.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build data solutions.
- Check data quality and integrity to find areas for improvement.
- Document workflows, processes, and technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dataflows and applications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years of school before the start of the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented scripting language like Python, C#, or Ruby.
- Experience with relational database design, SQL query construction, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with frontend or web frameworks such as .NET, Django, React, or Vue.
- Knowledge of XML/JSON formats, file parsing, and data transfer mechanisms.
- Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab or GitHub.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

- This position is based on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
