About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Packaging Engineering Intern to join our Global Operations business group in Apopka, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will work on real projects related to semiconductor assembly and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research and development and continuous improvement initiatives for Back Grinding, Dicing, and DTR processes.
- Develop and advance DTR image analysis through a programming initiative.
- Use solid modeling and laser metrology to characterize small R&D products and processes.
- Participate in hands-on learning of semiconductor assembly processes on-site.
- Document continuous improvement activities using A3s and Lean methodologies.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- A proven ability to manage and drive problem resolution.
