About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Product Engineering Intern to work within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. This internship provides hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing and data analysis. You will work on projects that directly impact the production of advanced RFIC products.
What you'll do#
- Identify yield improvement opportunities in the manufacturing of RFIC products.
- Perform data mining and extraction using statistical methods.
- Write data analysis routines in Python, incorporating AI and Machine Learning approaches.
- Partner with Design, Manufacturing, Test, Applications, Project Management, and Quality Engineering teams to validate your findings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques such as CPK, SPC, and ANOVA.
- Experience with RF measurement equipment including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Coding experience, specifically with Python and Spark SQL.
