About the role#
The Test Engineering Intern will support teams tasked with characterizing and evaluating RF products. You will work with measured RF data to help streamline review processes and improve engineering conclusions. Specific projects are determined by business needs during your assignment.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, organize, and validate RF characterization and test data from multiple sources.
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, correlations, anomalies, and performance drivers.
- Learn and use Spotfire to build interactive visualizations, dashboards, filters, and drill-down analyses.
- Create standardized dashboards and reusable templates for common data-review workflows.
- Automate repetitive data preparation, calculations, and reporting tasks using Python, Excel, or similar tools.
- Define key metrics and visualizations in partnership with RF engineers.
- Document data sources, analysis methods, and dashboard logic.
- Summarize findings in reports and presentations for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Academic or project experience in RF/microwave engineering, signal processing, statistics, or engineering data analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, MATLAB, or SQL.
- A strong interest in learning Spotfire and applying visual analytics to engineering problems.
- Ability to translate technical questions into clear metrics and repeatable workflows.
