About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Software-Firmware Engineering Intern to join our High Performance Analog business group within the System and Research team. This role provides direct experience in firmware development and system evaluation. You will work on projects that support our technical goals, with specific tasks assigned based on current business needs.
What you'll do#
- Write custom firmware for TI MSP430 and ARM M3/M4 architectures using C.
- Build graphical user interfaces in C# with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Run data analyses, develop algorithms, and perform simulations using Python.
- Review digital and analog schematic diagrams to determine control requirements and system functions.
- Take part in design reviews for both software and hardware schematics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Practical experience with C, C++, C#, and Python.
- Understanding of 16 or 32 bit microcontroller architecture.

- This position is based on-site in Richardson, Texas.
- The role is full-time.
