About the role#
We are looking for a graduate-level intern to join our IT team in Ann Arbor. You will work on designing, training, and deploying AI solutions that address business challenges. This role involves building intelligent applications and AI agents that change how our internal processes function. You will work closely with technology leaders to develop these systems.
What you'll do#
- Build intelligent assistants and agentic workflows.
- Develop conversational AI solutions using Large Language Models.
- Implement multi-agent AI architectures.
- Train, tune, and deploy machine learning models.
- Build predictive and classification models.
- Develop recommendation engines and decision-support systems.
- Create APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities.
- Develop reusable AI components and SDKs for enterprise use.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Vue, AngularJS, or PHP.
- Solid knowledge of computer science and software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, multithreading, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Experience with projects involving AI, LLMs, or AI agents is preferred.
