About the role#
The Strategic Pricing & AI Analytics Intern will join the Strategic Finance & Operations team. You will work at the intersection of pricing, data analytics, industrial engineering, and artificial intelligence. This role focuses on analyzing business processes, improving reporting tools, and identifying ways to use automation within pricing workflows.
What you'll do#
- Analyze pricing, customer, product, quote, and market data to find trends and business insights.
- Document current workflows and find ways to simplify, standardize, or automate manual tasks.
- Use industrial engineering methods like process mapping, root cause analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Build and improve dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Excel.
- Support the development of AI-enabled tools and structured workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Pricing, Product Finance, Sales, and Market Intelligence.
- Translate analytical findings into recommendations and present your progress to leadership.
- Maintain a safe and responsible work environment at all times.
What you'll need#
- You are at least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Foundational knowledge of statistics, data analysis, or operations research.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- English language fluency.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Austin, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time position requiring at least 40 hours per week.
- The term for this internship is Summer 2027.
