    About the role#

    This summer internship at our Fab 9 facility in Essex Junction, Vermont, focuses on sustaining operations and resolving equipment and process issues on the fab floor. You will manage a specific project from start to finish and present your results at an end of summer poster session. This is a full time, on-site role for students currently in their junior year.

    What you'll do#

    • Drive improvements in throughput, cost reduction, and yield.
    • Collaborate with integration and process engineering teams to support technology transfer.
    • Define and maintain equipment installation roadmaps and qualification processes.
    • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize equipment performance.
    • Lead hands-on troubleshooting efforts to resolve long-term performance issues.
    • Deconstruct and understand complex systems.
    • Perform all work in a safe manner that meets environmental, health, and security requirements.

    What you'll need#

    • Junior standing at the time of application pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA with good academic standing.
    • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
    • Mechanical inclination.
