    About the role#

    The CMOS FEOL Reliability Engineering Intern will support the Fab 8 Reliability Engineering organization. You will assess semiconductor device reliability performance across advanced technology platforms. This role involves evaluating test data, investigating degradation mechanisms, and improving monitoring methodologies alongside various engineering teams.

    What you'll do#

    • Learn reliability fundamentals like HCI, BTI, TDDB, GOI, and PRM.
    • Support qualification and monitoring activities for advanced CMOS technologies.
    • Analyze wafer-level reliability (WLR) and fast wafer-level reliability (FWLR) test data.
    • Build automated solutions for data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and visualization.
    • Conduct data mining, trend analysis, and historical PRM correlation studies.
    • Develop statistical monitoring methods to improve risk assessment.
    • Collaborate with Device, Process, Product, Yield, and Reliability Laboratory teams.
    • Prepare engineering reports and present your findings and recommendations.
    • Maintain safe and responsible work practices at all times.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program.
    • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Capacity to work both independently and within a team.
