About the role#
Axcelis is seeking a Manufacturing Software Engineering Co-op to join our Operations Technology team. This role focuses on business system integration, custom application development, and operational data analysis. You will work in a manufacturing environment where technology meets industrial operations.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain ERP integrations with manufacturing systems.
- Build custom applications to help streamline daily operations.
- Analyze operational data to support process optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
- Document your findings and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with database setup and integration, specifically MSSQL.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript Node for application development.
- Experience with C#.NET, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and ERP systems.
- Understanding of data visualization and analysis techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Beverly, Massachusetts (On-site).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Term: January 4, 2027, to June 25, 2027.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
- Travel: A $1,000 travel stipend is provided.
