About the role#
This Manufacturing Engineer Co-op position is based in Beverly, Massachusetts. You will work on-site to support production operations involving complex mechanical and electrical systems. This six-month assignment runs from January 4th to June 25th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
What you'll do#
- Support manufacturing systems for complex mechanical and electrical operations, including assembly, module build, and testing.
- Design and build fixturing to assist with the assembly of complex products.
- Develop or revise build procedures for modules and subassemblies.
- Optimize manufacturing cell quality and productivity by applying lean principles.
- Perform root cause analyses for quality defects and implement corrective actions.
- Correct bills of materials and documentation to maintain design intent.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Solidworks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment including calipers, hand tools, and DMMs.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4th to June 25th).
- Compensation: This position is paid with a base salary range of $20.42 to $35.70 per hour. A $1,000 travel stipend is provided as a lump sum in the first paycheck.
