About the role#
This position supports students within an educational setting. You will work directly with staff and caregivers to implement behavior support plans and assist with the daily therapeutic needs of students. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Implement and model Positive Behavior Support Plans and ABA-based interventions.
- Help students develop behavioral and emotional skills.
- Collect, enter, and graph ABA data for monthly progress reviews.
- Assist school personnel with classroom materials, including creating and grading assignments.
- Arrange the school environment to support the physical and psychological needs of students.
- Perform personal care tasks such as toileting, eating, and grooming when required.
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention efforts.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a home, hospital, or educational setting.
- Academic background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Human Resources, Public Health, or Criminal Justice is relevant to this work.

- The role is based in Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
- This position requires on-site attendance.
