About the role#
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday during traditional school hours. You will work on-site to help students with disabilities succeed in their educational environment. This role follows a standard school schedule with no weekends or holidays.
What you'll do#
- Implement, model, and assist with Positive Behavior Support Plans and ABA-based interventions.
- Support the development of student behavioral and emotional skills.
- Collect, enter, and graph ABA data while gathering information for monthly progress reviews.
- Assist school staff with classroom organization to meet student physical and psychological needs.
- Help with creating, copying, and grading classroom materials.
- Perform personal care tasks such as toileting, eating, and grooming assistance as needed.
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention, including completing necessary documentation.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in an educational, hospital, or home setting.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Nursing, Human Resources, Kinesiology, Public Health, or Criminal Justice are encouraged to apply.
