About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide care to our patients. This role is part-time and involves supporting the pharmacy team in a retail environment. You will focus on patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance while gaining professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and care.
- Assist with inventory management and pharmacy workflow operations.
- Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 pounds, scanning items, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
