About the role#
As a co-op intern in the Tax Services group, you will join a diverse team to help clients navigate complex tax environments. You will gain hands-on experience by working on meaningful projects, learning from experienced professionals, and contributing to the success of our clients. This role offers exposure to a range of work, including corporate tax planning, compliance, and strategy, while helping you develop your business acumen in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients in meeting compliance obligations and achieving business objectives.
- Advise a diverse clientele on tax planning, compliance, and corporate tax strategy.
- Support the execution of tax planning and strategy mandates for various organizations.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to perform tax work and develop technical skills.
- Help clients manage risks and navigate complex business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with CPA Canada prerequisite courses in progress.
- Excellent command of French is required.
- Strong interest in digital development and technological trends.
- Ability to adapt easily to new situations and establish priorities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
