About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support client engagements, learn our audit methodologies, and contribute to the accuracy and transparency of financial reporting. This role is designed to build your foundational knowledge of audit practices while you observe how we help clients meet regulatory requirements.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain accurate records.
- Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in your daily tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze financial trends and assess risk.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Use data analysis skills to support audit quality.
- Observe and learn from experienced auditors during client interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to meet the requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typical candidates are in their third year of a four-year degree or their fourth year of a five-year program.
