About the role#
As an Audit Intern at Crowe, you will gain hands-on experience in the auditing profession during our winter term. You will work closely with experienced professionals, receive guidance on day-to-day audit responsibilities, and engage with current issues affecting the accounting field. This internship requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week from January through March.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Collaborate with diverse teams on client engagements across sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, government, and financial services.
- Use audit tools and technologies, including advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process flow automation.
- Assist with benefit plan audits, including 401(k), pension, and employee stock ownership plans.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality client service.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
- Scheduled to meet the educational requirements for a CPA license.
- Proficiency with Excel and strong academic credentials.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous relevant work experience, such as internships or part-time roles.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
- Willingness to work or travel during evenings or weekends if required.
