About the role#
The Nursing Assistant Student participates in an educational process to learn fundamental resident care skills. This role focuses on applying facility-specific practices while maintaining a commitment to patient-focused care.
What you'll do#
- Engage in the educational process to develop basic care skills.
- Provide care for residents using established facility practices.
- Uphold a commitment to patient-focused care.
What you'll need#
- Six months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
- Ability to obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Foundational skills in the care of residents.
- An understanding of patient-focused care principles.
