About the role#
The Nursing Assistant Student participates in an educational program to learn essential resident care skills. You will work within the facility to adopt established care practices while maintaining a commitment to patient-focused care.
What you'll do#
- Engage in the facility educational process to develop nursing assistant skills.
- Learn and apply basic care techniques for residents.
- Maintain a consistent commitment to patient-focused care standards.
What you'll need#
- Six months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
- Ability to obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Foundational understanding of patient-focused care and basic resident care skills.
