About the role#
This position provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting. You will work under the direct supervision of a Radiologic Technologist or Radiologist to perform technical procedures and assist with diagnostic imaging. Please note that your scope of practice is strictly limited to static imaging. Fluoroscopy and surgical exams are not part of this role.
What you'll do#
- Perform technical procedures as assigned.
- Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging examinations.
- Take responsibility for designated areas or specific procedures as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a formal ARRT-qualified Radiologic Technology training program.
- At least six months of experience in your formal training program.
- Washington X-Ray Technician Registration or a Temporary Practice Permit upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
