About the role#
This position is an out-patient pharmacist-in-training role at Swedish First Hill in Seattle. You will work under the direction and supervision of a pharmacy preceptor to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. This is a per diem, variable shift position.
What you'll do#
- Perform pharmacist duties, excluding the final check of medications, under the supervision of a preceptor.
- Help ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and cost-effective drug therapy.
- Provide clinical drug information to physicians, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy.
- A Washington Pharmacist License or Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire.
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
