About the role#
The Clinical Student Intern observes and participates in a variety of clinical experiences to assist in providing patient care. You will work within an assigned clinical setting to support the team and perform related duties as assigned.
What you'll do#
- Observe clinical operations and participate in patient care activities.
- Assist the clinical team in an assigned specialty setting.
- Perform related clinical duties as assigned by supervisors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Completion of at least one module or quarter of the Medical Assistant program prior to the start date.
- Ability to maintain student enrollment and good standing throughout the internship.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, required within 30 days of hire.
