About the role#
The Clinical Student Intern observes and participates in a variety of clinical experiences to assist in providing patient care. This position is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Assisting program to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Observe and participate in a variety of clinical experiences.
- Assist in providing patient care within an assigned clinical setting.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Completion of at least one module or one quarter of the Medical Assistant program prior to the date of hire.
- Maintain student status in good standing throughout the duration of the internship.
- Obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
