About the role#
The Clinical Student Intern at Magnolia Primary Care observes and participates in clinical experiences to assist with patient care. This position is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Assisting program who want to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Observe and participate in a variety of clinical experiences.
- Assist in providing patient care within an assigned clinical setting.
- Perform related clinical duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting program in good standing.
- Completion of at least one module or one quarter of the Medical Assistant program prior to the date of hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Maintenance of program enrollment and good standing throughout the duration of the internship.
