About the role#
The Nursing Assistant Student role is for individuals committed to pursuing a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification. You will gain hands-on experience at Providence St. Patrick Hospital while working toward your professional license. This position supports our mission of providing patient-focused care to vulnerable communities.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct care to patients.
- Work toward completing a CNA or EMT program.
- Support the needs of vulnerable populations.
- Obtain your CNA license or Montana EMT Basic license within 12 months of your start date.
What you'll need#
- A commitment to enrolling in or completing a CNA or EMT program.
- Ability to obtain American Heart Association National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
- Enrollment in Nursing or Public Health programs is relevant to this role.
