About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is a network of outpatient mental health clinics. We provide comprehensive mental health services to adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. This role is for a Psychotherapist Intern to join our team in Winter Garden. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with company policies.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in the field.
What you'll need#
- A master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Winter Garden, Florida.
- Work modality: On-site with options for telemedicine.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Schedule: Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth visits, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday.
