About the role#
The Clinical Student Intern supports patient care within an assigned clinical setting at Swedish Medical Group. This role provides students with the opportunity to observe and participate in clinical experiences while performing related duties as assigned.
What you'll do#
- Observe and participate in a variety of clinical experiences.
- Assist in providing patient care in an assigned clinical setting.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
- Completion of at least one module or one quarter of the Medical Assistant program prior to the hire date.
- Maintenance of current enrollment and good standing throughout the internship.
- National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) obtained within 30 days of hire.
