About the role#
The Nursing Assistant Student works under the supervision of a clinical supervisor or a registered nurse to provide support in a hospital setting. This per-diem role focuses on maintaining patient safety and assisting with daily care activities. You will operate within a scope of practice determined by your supervisor based on your current skill level and progress in your nursing education.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks to ensure patient safety, including close and continuous observation.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs.
- Assist patients with daily activities and comfort.
- Document all patient observations and care activities.
- Perform non-direct patient care duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the first semester of an accredited nursing school program.
- High school diploma or GED.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

- Shift structure: 12-hour day and night shifts available.
